Hi! I'm April (she/her), a trans girl from Manchester, United Kingdom. I'm interested in Java, reverse engineering, and compilers.

I listen to a lot of music. Some of my favorite artists right now are underscores, osquinn, Saoirse Dream, Bladee, Snow Strippers, Teen Suicide, Starry Cat, Gabby Start, and Jane Remover.

I'm very interested in JVM internals. I'm an OpenJDK contributor where I've worked on small fixes and similar, and I've also frequently worked on JVM-related projects such as Mirage and Duke. I've also written about the JVM a lot.

Apart from JVM internals, I'm very interested in reverse engineering, obfuscation, and compilers. I've done a lot of work in the past especially regarding deobfuscation, JVM obfuscation, and building tooling around the JVM.

I'm from Manchester, and I love it! Something that especially interests me is the city's public transport, it's probably one of the best parts about it. In my free time I love walking around or just going on the tram.
